Brezilya, Fransa, Kolombiya, \u015eili, Bolivya, Sudan, Tunus, Hindistan ve daha bir\u00e7ok \u00fclkede ger\u00e7ekle\u015fen se\u00e7imlerde ekoloji hareketleri, toplumsal muhalefetin temel politik \u00f6zneleri aras\u0131nda yer ald\u0131. Kapitalist sistemin ezberini, devletlerin tahakk\u00fcm\u00fcn\u00fc y\u0131kan kad\u0131nlar, Rojava\u2019da ekolojik ya\u015fam\u0131 \u00f6r\u00fcyor.  D\u00fcnyada ekoloji m\u00fccadelesinin toplumu, siyaseti, ya\u015fam\u0131 ve kendini d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcrme potansiyeline tan\u0131k olurken \u00fclkemizde yakla\u015fan kritik se\u00e7imde ekoloji hareketlerinin \u00fczerlerine d\u00fc\u015fen sorumlulu\u011fu alacak deneyime ve g\u00fcce sahip oldu\u011funu ilan ediyoruz.  

Kapitalizm, tarihsel krizlerini a\u015farken, her krizinden \u00e7\u0131k\u0131\u015f\u0131nda \u00fcretti\u011fi stratejiler ile ekosistemleri, do\u011fal varl\u0131klar\u0131, ya\u015fam\u0131n belle\u011fini olu\u015fturan k\u00fclt\u00fcr varl\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 sermaye birikimine sokup, geri al\u0131namaz boyutta yok ediyor. Kapitalizm yol a\u00e7t\u0131\u011f\u0131 ekolojik krizin fark\u0131nda ve bunu f\u0131rsata \u00e7evirme pe\u015finde. Ulus devletler ise bu s\u00fcrecin \u00f6n\u00fcn\u00fc a\u00e7arak sermayenin ya\u015fam\u0131 ve ya\u015fam alanlar\u0131n\u0131 k\u0131r\u0131ma s\u00fcr\u00fckleyen politikalar\u0131n\u0131 beslerken, bu s\u00fcre\u00e7leri e\u015fzamanl\u0131 sava\u015f stratejileri ile y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fcyor.  Ye\u015fil Kapitalizmle ya\u015fam\u0131n t\u00fcm alanlar\u0131n\u0131 (\u00e7al\u0131\u015fma ya\u015fam\u0131, kentler, mimari, tar\u0131m, e\u011fitim, sa\u011fl\u0131k, enerji, ula\u015f\u0131m, g\u00fcndelik ya\u015fam vb.) \u2018s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilir kalk\u0131nma\u2019 mottosu ile ye\u015file boyayarak b\u00fct\u00fcnl\u00fckl\u00fc olarak sermaye birikimine sokmay\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fcyorlar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ye\u015fil Kapitalizm, sadece ekoloji m\u00fccadelesi verenlerin de\u011fil, i\u015f\u00e7i s\u0131n\u0131f\u0131n\u0131n, halklar\u0131n, kad\u0131nlar\u0131n, \u00f6tekile\u015ftirilenlerin meselesi. Sermaye, patron \u00f6rg\u00fctleriyle, devlet kurumlar\u0131yla, akademisiyle, medyas\u0131yla, STK\u2019lar\u0131yla ve hatta antikapitalist olmayan \u00e7evre \u00f6rg\u00fctleriyle ekolojik talan\u0131 ye\u015file boyayarak gizlemeye \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131yor. Ye\u015fil strateji i\u015f\u00e7iler i\u00e7in s\u00f6m\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcn derinle\u015fmesi ve i\u015fsizlik anlam\u0131 ta\u015f\u0131rken k\u00f6yl\u00fcler i\u00e7in topraklar\u0131ndan s\u00f6k\u00fclme, g\u00f6\u00e7 yollar\u0131na d\u00fc\u015fme anlam\u0131na geliyor. Halklar\u0131m\u0131z daha yoksulla\u015f\u0131rken t\u00fcketimin daha da k\u0131\u015fk\u0131rt\u0131lmas\u0131 ve yeni at\u0131klarla sermaye kendisine rant alanlar\u0131 yarat\u0131yor. Sermaye i\u00e7in Amasra\u2019da madende veya \u00dc\u00e7\u00fcnc\u00fc Havaliman\u0131 in\u015faat\u0131nda oldu\u011fu gibi i\u015f cinayetlerindeki \u00f6l\u00fcmler, birer maliyet olarak g\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcyor.

Kapitalizme dair iyimser, naif umutlar gen\u00e7ler i\u00e7in \u00e7oktan son buldu. Bu t\u00fcketimcilik ve bu ba\u015f d\u00f6nd\u00fcr\u00fcc\u00fc h\u0131zla ye\u015fil d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcm\u00fcn m\u00fcmk\u00fcn olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131, ye\u015fil bir kapitalizmin m\u00fcmk\u00fcn olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 dost da d\u00fc\u015fman da biliyor art\u0131k. Bu y\u0131l yap\u0131lan \u0130klim Zirvesi\u2019nde \u00fclkeler yine ekolojik y\u0131k\u0131ma yapt\u0131klar\u0131 makyajlar\u0131 yar\u0131\u015ft\u0131rd\u0131lar. Ama bunlara inanmaya devam edersek yine kazanan onlar, yine kaybeden bizler olaca\u011f\u0131z. Bu nedenle ekoloji hareketleri, her yerelde ya\u015fam alanlar\u0131n\u0131 korumak i\u00e7in dayan\u0131\u015f\u0131yor, m\u00fccadele ediyor, enternasyonal d\u00fczeyde deneyimlerini ortakla\u015ft\u0131r\u0131yor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ya\u015famakta oldu\u011fumuz topraklarda da ekoloji m\u00fccadelelerinin siyaseti d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcrecek ve ekolojik ya\u015fam\u0131 \u00f6recek politik \u00f6znelerinin boy verdi\u011fi bir d\u00f6nemde oldu\u011fumuzu biliyoruz. Sistemin su\u00e7lar\u0131na ortak olmamaya, dayat\u0131lan siyaset alan\u0131 ve tarz\u0131n\u0131 kabullenmemeye kararl\u0131y\u0131z. Ya\u015fam alanlar\u0131ndan zorla edilmek, ya\u015fam alanlar\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6znelli\u011finin, geleneklerinin, birlikteli\u011finin y\u0131k\u0131lmas\u0131na, k\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131na, k\u00fclt\u00fcrel ve inan\u00e7sal de\u011ferlerimize sald\u0131r\u0131lara,  t\u00fcrlerin yok olu\u015funa g\u00f6z yummak istemiyoruz. Sald\u0131r\u0131lar\u0131n kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131nda sadece savunan olmak de\u011fil, ekoloji m\u00fccadelesi hatt\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 daha da netle\u015ftirerek, ekolojik ya\u015fam\u0131 bug\u00fcnden yar\u0131na kurmak istiyoruz.

Ekoloji hareketinin kolektif haf\u0131zas\u0131nda biriktirdi\u011fi ilke ve taleplerle siyaseti \u00fclkemizde de d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcrmek i\u00e7in bulu\u015fuyoruz. Ekoloji Politik taraf\u0131ndan d\u00fczenlenen \u201cSiyasetin D\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr\u00fcc\u00fc G\u00fcc\u00fc: Ekoloji M\u00fccadelesi \u00c7al\u0131\u015ftay\u0131\u201dnda Ekososyalizm, Marksist Ekoloji, Toplumsal Ekoloji ve farkl\u0131 politik ekoloji ak\u0131mlar\u0131ndan, Jineoloji\u2019den, ekofeministlerden ve sosyalist feministlerden arkada\u015flar\u0131m\u0131z, T\u00fcrk Tabipleri Birli\u011fi (TTB), TMMOB \u00c7evre M\u00fchendisleri Odas\u0131, Kamu Emek\u00e7ileri Sendikalar\u0131 Konfederasyonu (KESK), Dev Yap\u0131 \u0130\u015f ve \u0130n\u015faat \u0130\u015f Sendikas\u0131 ile sosyalist partilerden kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131larla bir araya geldiler. Amasra\u2019da meydana gelen maden facias\u0131n\u0131n ya\u015fand\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00fcn ger\u00e7ekle\u015fen bulu\u015fmada bir kez daha emek hareketi ile ekoloji hareketinin g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc birlikteli\u011fine olan ihtiyac\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n can yak\u0131c\u0131 boyutlar\u0131 konu\u015fuldu.  Kad\u0131n \u00f6zg\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc ba\u015fta olmak \u00fczere ezilen halklar\u0131n ve b\u00fct\u00fcn tahakk\u00fcm ili\u015fkilerine kar\u015f\u0131 m\u00fccadelelerin ekoloji m\u00fccadelesiyle kesi\u015fimsel ba\u011flar\u0131 tart\u0131\u015f\u0131ld\u0131. Ekoloji hareketinin, toplumu, siyaseti, ya\u015fam\u0131 ve kendini d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcrme potansiyeline olan inan\u00e7la \u00e7al\u0131\u015ftay sonucunda b\u00fct\u00fcn ekoloji hareketlerine yakla\u015fan se\u00e7imlerde ortak bir tutum almak i\u00e7in ortak konferans yap\u0131lmas\u0131 teklifinde bulunulmas\u0131na karar verildi. Temmuz ay\u0131nda Arsuz\u2019da bir maden oca\u011f\u0131 sorunu i\u00e7in ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilen panelde dile getirilen bu \u00f6nerinin ekoloji hareketinin kolektif y\u00fcr\u00fcy\u00fc\u015f\u00fc i\u00e7inde her a\u015famada kendisini s\u0131nayarak, yeni \u00f6neriler ve katk\u0131larla geli\u015fece\u011fini umut ediyoruz. Ekoloji hareketinin farkl\u0131 \u00f6beklerinden se\u00e7im siyasetine y\u00f6nelik geli\u015ftirilen \u00f6nerilerle y\u00fcr\u00fcy\u00fc\u015f kollar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 birle\u015ftirerek ilerleyece\u011fiz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yakla\u015fan se\u00e7imlerin herhangi bir se\u00e7imden farkl\u0131 olarak ekolojik y\u0131k\u0131mla kendini var eden bir rejim meselesi oldu\u011funu g\u00f6r\u00fcyoruz. Tar\u0131m\u0131n \u00e7\u00f6kertilmesinden, kentlerin birer rant alan\u0131na d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr\u00fclmesine, enerji, maden ve in\u015faat sekt\u00f6rleri i\u00e7in her t\u00fcrl\u00fc anayasal ve yasal engellerin kald\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131na, en \u00fccra k\u00f6ydeki bir meran\u0131n \u015firketlere devrinden iklim krizine ve n\u00fckleer santrallere kadar ekolojik sorunlar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n tamam\u0131 bir sistem sorunu haline geldi. Ekoloji hareketleri olarak bu tek adam rejiminden kurtulu\u015f hamlesini ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirmek i\u00e7in b\u00fct\u00fcn toplumsal muhalefet g\u00fc\u00e7leriyle birlikte sorumluluk almak istiyoruz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brezilya se\u00e7imlerinde, Amazon Ormanlar\u0131\u2019n\u0131n ve gezegenin gelece\u011fi i\u00e7in oy kullan\u0131ld\u0131. T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin se\u00e7iminde de Akkuyu ve Sinop n\u00fckleer santralleri ile Kanal \u0130stanbul\u2019dan kurtulmak, Hasankeyf gibi ekok\u0131r\u0131m su\u00e7lar\u0131yla yok edilen k\u00fclt\u00fcrel ve do\u011fal varl\u0131klar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n hesab\u0131n\u0131 sormak, Gezi davas\u0131nda tutsak edilen arkada\u015flar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 \u00f6zg\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcne kavu\u015fturmak i\u00e7in oy kullanaca\u011f\u0131z.  Her f\u0131rsatta bu se\u00e7imin sadece insanlar\u0131n de\u011fil, co\u011frafyam\u0131z\u0131n ve bu topraklarda ya\u015fayan b\u00fct\u00fcn canl\u0131lar\u0131n se\u00e7imi oldu\u011funu hat\u0131rlataca\u011f\u0131z. Her g\u00fcn yeni y\u0131k\u0131mlarla kar\u015f\u0131m\u0131za \u00e7\u0131kan kapitalist felakete kar\u015f\u0131 malumun ilam\u0131ndan \u00f6teye ge\u00e7erek ekoloji hareketlerinin \u00f6zg\u00fcn eylem ve m\u00fccadele y\u00f6ntemleriyle hem kendimizi hem de siyaseti daha ileriye ta\u015f\u0131ma iddias\u0131nday\u0131z.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ekoloji muhalefetinin yakla\u015fan se\u00e7imlerde en geni\u015f birlikteli\u011fi ile siyasal taleplerini olu\u015fturmas\u0131n\u0131 ve ortak tutum geli\u015ftirmesini ama\u00e7l\u0131yoruz. 2023 y\u0131l\u0131n\u0131 bu umudu b\u00fcy\u00fcterek kar\u015f\u0131lamak i\u00e7in \u0130stanbul\u2019da d\u00fczenlenecek konferansta bulu\u015fuyoruz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Call for the Conference of Ecology Movements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the elections held in Brazil, France, Colombia, Chile, Bolivia, Sudan, Tunisia, India, Tunisia and many other countries, ecology movements have become one of the main political subjects of social opposition. Disrupting the clich\u00e9s of the capitalist system and the oppression of states, women are weaving ecological life in Rojava. As we witness the potential of the ecological struggle to transform society, politics, life and itself on the world stage, we declare that the ecological movements in our country have the experience and power to take responsibility in the upcoming critical elections. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Capitalism, while overcoming its historical crises, destroys ecosystems, natural assets, and cultural assets that constitute the memory of life in an irreversible way by putting them into capital accumulation with the strategies it produces at the exit of each crisis. Capitalism is aware of the ecological crisis it has caused and seeks to turn it into an opportunity. Nation states, on the other hand, pave the way for this process and feed the policies of capital that drive life and habitats to destruction, while carrying out these processes with simultaneous war strategies.  With Green Capitalism, they continue to paint all areas of life (working life, cities, architecture, agriculture, education, health, energy, transportation, daily life, etc.) green with the motto of \u2018sustainable development\u2019 and continue to put them into capital accumulation as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Green Capitalism is a matter not only for those struggling for ecology, but also for the working class, peoples, women and the marginalized. Capital, with its bosses\u2019 organizations, state institutions, academia, media, NGOs and even non-capitalist environmental organizations, tries to hide ecological plunder by painting it green. While the green strategy means deepening exploitation and unemployment for workers, for farmers it means being uprooted from their lands and being forced to migrate. While our peoples are becoming poorer, capital creates further avenues of profit with the further provocation of consumption and new wastes. For capital, deaths in workplace murders, such as in the mine in Amasra or in the construction of the Third Airport, are seen as mere costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The optimistic, na\u00efve hopes for capitalism have already ended for young people. Friend and foe alike now know that green transformation is not possible, that a green capitalism is not possible with this consumerism and this dizzying speed. At this year\u2019s Climate Summit, countries again competed in the make-up they applied to ecological destruction. But if we continue to believe them, they will again be the winners and we will again be the losers. For this reason, ecology movements are in solidarity and struggle to protect their living spaces in every locality, and they share their experiences on an international level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We know that we are in an age in which the political subjects of ecological struggles that will transform politics and weave ecological life are emerging in the lands where we live. We are determined not to be complicit in the crimes of the system and not to accept the imposed political space and mode. We do not want to be forced out of our living spaces, we do not want to turn a blind eye to the destruction of the subjectivity, traditions and unity of living spaces, attacks on our cultural and religious values, and the extinction of species. We do not want to be mere defenders against the attacks, we want to establish ecological life from today to tomorrow by further clarifying our line of ecological struggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are meeting to transform politics in our country with the principles and demands that the ecology movement has accumulated in its collective memory. The \u201cTransformative Power of Politics: Ecology Struggle Workshop\u201d organized by Ekoloji Politik, our friends from different political ecology movements such as Ecosocialism, Marxist Ecology, Social Ecology, Jineology, ecofeminists and socialist feminists came together with participants from the Turkish Medical Association (TTB), TMMOB Chamber of Environmental Engineers, Confederation of Public Employees Unions (KESK), Dev Yap\u0131 \u0130\u015f and \u0130n\u015faat \u0130\u015f Union and socialist parties. During the meeting, which took place on the day of the mining disaster in Amasra, the painful dimensions of our need for the strong unity of the labor movement and the ecology movement were once again discussed.  The intersectional links between the struggle for women\u2019s liberation, oppressed peoples and struggles against all relations of oppression and the ecological struggle were discussed. With the belief in the potential of the ecology movement to transform society, politics, life and itself, it was decided to propose to all ecology movements to organize a joint conference to take a common position in the upcoming elections. We hope that this proposal, which was voiced at the panel organized in July in Arsuz for a mining quarry issue, will develop with new suggestions and contributions, testing itself at every stage in the collective march of the ecology movement. We will move forward by uniting our marching columns with the proposals for electoral politics developed from different parts of the ecology movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We see that the upcoming elections, unlike any other elections, are a matter of a regime that exists through ecological destruction. From the collapse of agriculture to the transformation of cities into rent-seeking areas, from the removal of all constitutional and legal obstacles for the energy, mining and construction sectors to the transfer of even the remotest pasture to companies, from the acknowledgement of the climate crisis to nuclear power plants, all of our ecological problems have become systemic. As ecology movements, we want to take responsibility together with all social opposition forces to realize the liberation movement from this one-man regime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Brazilian elections, people voted for the future of the Amazon forests and the planet. In Turkey\u2019s elections, we will vote to get rid of the Akkuyu and Sinop nuclear power plants and Canal Istanbul, to demand accountability for our cultural and natural assets such as Hasankeyf, which have been destroyed through ecocide crimes, and to free our friends imprisoned in the Gezi trial.  At every opportunity, we will reiterate that this election is not only a choice affecting people, but also our geography and all the living creatures that inhabit these lands. We claim to move ourselves and politics forward, by doing more than stating the obvious, with the unique methods of action and protest of the ecology movements against the capitalist catastrophe that confronts us with new potential avenues of destruction every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We aim for the ecological opposition to formulate its political demands and develop a common ground with the broadest unity in the upcoming elections. To welcome 2023 by nurturing this hope, we are meeting at a conference to be organized in Istanbul at 23th of January, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are waiting for all the ecologists around the world to join us for expanding our solidarity and cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
